Man shot and killed in Macon home

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Investigators with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is working to figure out who shot  57-year-old Harry Lee Williams in Macon.

According to a Macon-Bibb Coroner Leon Jones, the shooting happened at a home on Joseph Waller Drive around 3:00 p.m., Tuesday. Jones says family members were inside the home when emergency teams responded to the scene.

The call came in as person unresponsive and not as a shooting.

The victim has been identified as Harry Lee Williams.
