Man robs Macon gift shop, steals jewelry, cash

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man entered the Lucky Bamboo Gift Shop on Shurling Drive in Macon and stole cash and some jewelry Tuesday night.

It happened around 8:30.

He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, had a small beard and was about six feet tall.

No one was injured.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says he walked in with a gun and used it to steal cash from the register and a woman’s jewelry.

A clerk tried to stop him, but he couldn’t.
