Man disappears before doctor’s appointment in Macon
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County sheriff’s deputies are asking for the public’s help trying to track down a man who was reported missing Thursday.
78-year-old Robert Harris Jr. was last seen by his wife at the Medical Center, Navicent Health a little after 7:00 a.m.
Harris was headed to a doctor’s appointment, but according to the sheriff’s office — he never showed.
Harris is 6’2″ and weighs around 220. He was wearing a blue striped shirt, blue pants, a forest green colored jacket, and shoes. He suffers from dementia. He has gray hair and is balding. A spokesperson from the sheriff’s office says he’s known to ride the bus in Macon and often times walk in the downtown area.
