Man arrested for stealing ATV in Crawford County

ROBERTA, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man was arrested after Crawford County’s sheriff says he stole an ATV last week.

39-year-old Neal Adkison is charged with stealing a motor vehicle, two counts of second degree criminal damage to property, and obstructing an officer.

The sheriff says Adkison stole the ATV from a home on Jackson Road. A family member was returning home when he saw Adkison. He tried running after him but couldn’t catch him.

Deputies found the ATV in a wooded area and arrested Adkison after he tried running away from them.

He’s still in the Crawford County jail.
