Man accused of taking construction and farm equipment

IRWINTON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Danville man wanted in three counties was recently apprehended.

        Edward Sampson, 57, was arrested Monday. Sampson is charged with felony theft by taking and felony theft by recieving stolen proerty.


        Wilkinson County Investigator, Thomas Taylor, said Sampson took a Low-Boy trailer from Kent Watkins Loging in Wilkinson County, a John Deere tractor from Curtis Perry Construction in Laurens County,
and a new Holland tractor in Bleckley county.

        “He picked-up a 6×12 utility trailer somewhere on interstate 16,”said Taylor. “ If anybody knows anything about this trailer call me.”

        Sampson is being held at the Wilkinson County jail without bond.
