Macon restaurants create desserts using Girl Scout Cookies

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Eight Middle Georgia restaurants created a dessert to celebrate National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend.

From Thin Mints to Tagalongs, and everything in between, your favorite cookie can satisfy your sweet tooth in a different way while promoting an organization that stands for building confidence in little girls.

“These girls are amazing. They build all of their character traits, they learn their business ethics through the girl scout cookie program and they make friends that will last them a lifetime,” says Pamela Rugen, the Product Sales Manager for the Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia.

Participating restaurants are Barefoot Tavern, Brasserie Circa, Ginger Stir Fry & Grill, Grow, Prime Palate, Tic Toc Room, The Back Burner, and Yabu Sushi.

You can taste their unique Girl Scout Cookie desserts from now until March 1st.
