MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Thousands were downtown Sunday to see some of their favorite Christmas heroes in the annual parade.

“I just want to see Santa,” three-year-old Samantha Florencetta said. “Every year he brings me something good.”

Several organizations and schools participated in the parade, including Central Georgia Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia, Miss Macon, Bibb County Sheriff’s Office and area high schools.

“The bands always knows how to get the crowd going,” James Davis said. “My little ones love to hear them.”
