WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon County High School head football coach and athletic director Dexter Copeland was arrested last Thursday after a traffic stop in Houston County.

According to Houston County Sheriff’s Office records, Copeland was arrested January 28 and charged with open container violation, weaving/failure to maintain lane, violation of the Georgia Special Controlled Substances Act for possession of schedule I-II drugs and violation of the Georgia Special Controlled Substances Act for not having those drugs in their original container.

Records show he was released on $4,300 bail the next day.
