Macon-Bibb hosts vendor fair

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Macon-Bibb County is striving to help businesses succeed. The county, school district, housing authority and water authority teamed up to host a vendor fair for local businesses.

Different vendors and contractors attended the fair to share their plans and ideas. They also provided information on how businesses can grow within the county, as well as the state.

Director of Small Business Affairs, James Bumpus, hopes this event will provide opportunities for businesses and the economy.

“It speaks to our economic well being and the creation of new businesses, the expanding of existing businesses and the economic development of our community,” Bumpus said.

The Georgia Department of Administrative Services also provided vendors with information on how to expand their business with the help of the state.
