Little Richard Festival happens April 3
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Little Richard Festival happens on April 3 after being canceled last year amid the pandemic.
Festival-goers can expect live music from local bands, food, vendors, and an Easter egg hunt. Organizers will also unveil a new exhibit at the Little Richard House community resource center.
The Little Richard Festival commemorates the rock-n-roll icon’s legacy and the existence of the Little Richard House.
Information about the festival
- The event starts at 11 a.m. goes until 4 p.m.
- It will take place at the Little Richard House and Jefferson Long Park
- The Easter egg hunt happens at 1 p.m. at Mattie Hubbard Park
- They will also have a Little Richard impersonation contest
