Jones County High seniors celebrated with parade

GRAY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Jones County High School teachers got to see their seniors one last time before graduation.

Wednesday evening, seniors picked up their cap and gowns.

Teachers and faculty celebrated seniors with a parade. The parade progressed from pre-k and elementary school teachers, to middle school teachers, and finishing with high school teachers.

Teacher Jolynn Aubrey says she loves her seniors.

“Just to see their faces is enough to make me cry,” Aubrey said. “I’m so loving the fact that we get to connect with them one last time even though we are socially distancing. But we’re still connected and that’s what’s so important.”

Jones County High is having a virtual graduation May 22.
