The Democratic senator will speak before volunteers canvass neighborhoods ahead of Tuesday’s election against Republican Mike Collins.

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Democratic U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff will campaign in Warner Robins on Sunday as he makes a final push ahead of Tuesday’s election against Republican challenger Mike Collins.
Ossoff is scheduled to appear at a canvass launch organized by the Democratic Party of Georgia.
The event will run from 1 to 4 p.m., according to the party’s public registration page. An advisory from Ossoff’s campaign says the program will begin at 1:30 p.m.
The exact location has not been publicly released. The registration page says the address is private and will be provided to people who sign up.
Organizers say Ossoff will speak before volunteers head out to knock on doors and encourage people to vote for Democratic candidates. The party says volunteers do not need previous canvassing experience and will receive training. Participants are asked to dress for the weather and bring a fully charged cellphone.
Friday was the final day of early voting in Georgia. Election Day is Tuesday, November 3.
