Hart ‘toasting’ to clean water in Macon-Bibb
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – One Macon-Bibb Water Authority chair candidate is lifting his glass to clean water in Macon-Bibb, and he wants you to do the same.
Sam Hart pushed for more voters to get out to the polls next month and choose him as the next MWA chairman. He says he has goals to continue the good standing legacy the water authority has had in the community.
He’s aiming to provide top notch water services to residents and local businesses if he’s elected.
“You know when we start talking about a toast to water, it’s a tribute to what Frank Amerson did in terms of building a tremendous amount of momentum to make this an attractive place for companies who have to use the water or who want water for safety to come here,” Hart said.
He thinks it’s important to care for the water system in the county, so that future generations will be able to enjoy clean drinking water.
Elections for the Macon-Bibb Water Authority are on May 20th.
