Half of Peach County’s senior football class to play in college

FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Half of Peach County’s senior football class could be playing in college next season.

Four of them signed together Wednesday, including brothers Keyshawn Lowe and Malcolm Lowe. They’re both leaving the fields of Fort Valley for the Arizona desert. Both signed with the Eastern Arizona Monsters.

Keyshawn will fit in somewhere on offense, and Malcolm will play free safety on defense. Teammate Sean Freeman will join the Lowe brothers at Eastern Arizona. He’ll play strong safety.

Wide receiver Saire Davis will stay closer to home. He’ll play at Charleston Southern.

“All kids can’t play at the next level but every kid who has an opportunity like that you’d like to see them sign on signing day,” says head coach Chad Campbell. “We’re very fortunate to have those guys sign today and we feel very confident they’ll have a good career where they’re going.”

Another senior, Marquies Price is already enrolled at Duke and starts spring practice on Thursday. Campbell says another player may also sign in a few weeks, giving the Trojans six total signees.
