Gray woman dies in Macon motorcycle accident

Coroner Leon Jones tells 41NBC it happened just after 7 at the intersection of Riverside Drive and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

52-year-old Christine Wainio of Gray was driving in a group of motorcycles when she turned left onto Riverside Drive off MLK and lost control before hitting a pole and the railroad bridge.

Jones pronounced her dead at the scene. The cause of death is blunt force trauma. The accident is under investigation.
