GMC football beats Middle Georgia State 81-7

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Georgia Military College football team rolled to an 81-7 win over Middle Georgia State Saturday at Davenport Field.

The Bulldogs led 20-0 before MGSU’s Eric Forrest connected with Noah Myers for a touchdown pass to put the Knights on the board.

From there, GMC scored 61 points to move to 2-0. The Bulldogs will travel to Kilgore (Texas) on Saturday, September 5. Kickoff against the Rangers is at 2 p.m.

MGSU, a club football team still in its early years as a program, was playing its first game of the season. The Knights will face Alabama Prep Thursday, September 10 in Cochran.
