GMC dominates Middle Georgia State, 59-3
MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Georgia Military College had an easy time with Middle Georgia State Saturday, beating the visiting Knights 59-3.
Runningback Jovon Robinson (3 TDs) broke free for a 17-yard touchdown run to open the scoring for the Bulldogs (2-2) just more than two minutes in. He added two more scores on runs of 23 and five yards to give GMC a 21-0 lead after the first quarter.
The GMC defense forced four MGSC turnovers and also blocked a field goal. The Knights’ only points came on a 33-yard field goal in the second quarter.
GMC travels to DuPage (Illinois) Saturday at 1. MGSC (1-2) returns home to host OC Tech at Bleckley County High School in Cochran at 2.
