WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Georgia Military College will close its physical Warner Robins satellite location following the spring 2026 term, the college announced Tuesday.

In a news release, GMC said the decision reflects changing student preferences and increased demand for flexible learning options. The release did not provide a specific closing date.

“While GMC will no longer have a physical location in the Warner Robins community, the college remains committed to serving students through multiple pathways of opportunity,” the release said. “Our instructors will remain teaching courses inside schools that we have Dual Enrollment partnerships within Warner Robins and surrounding areas, and we are eager to partner with more schools to offer classes on site.”

Students will still be able to take classes through GMC Online or attend in-person courses at the college’s main campus in Milledgeville and other satellite locations.

GMC instructors will also continue teaching dual enrollment courses at partner schools in Warner Robins and surrounding areas.

The college says Warner Robins employees and instructors will remain with GMC and no students have been displaced by the change.

“For many years, it has been a privilege for Georgia Military College to be part of the Warner Robins community,” the release added. “We are deeply grateful for the relationships we’ve built with our students, alumni, community partners, and local leaders who have supported our mission over the years. While the way we serve this community is evolving, our commitment to its students remains unchanged.”

In addition to GMC Online, the college’s website lists its main campus in Milledgeville as well as satellite locations in Augusta, Columbus, Dublin, Fairburn, Madison and Valdosta.
