Georgia corrections special agent arrested in Flock system misuse case

The GBI says Robert “Bobby” Michael Keim used the GDC Flock Safety System for non-law enforcement purposes.

EATONTON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- The GBI has arrested and charged a Georgia Department of Corrections special agent with misuse of a license plate reader system.

The GBI identified him as Robert “Bobby” Michael Keim, 45, of Eatonton.

According to a GBI news release, the Georgia Department of Corrections asked the agency on August 18th to investigate possible misuse of the GDC Flock Safety System.

Preliminary information indicates Keim used the Flock Safety System for non-law enforcement purposes, according to the GBI.

Keim was arrested September 1st and booked into the Putnam County Jail.

The investigation is active and ongoing. Once the investigation is complete, the case file will be given to the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
