GCSU Reports at least 5 H1N1 Flu Cases
Tuesday, school health officials at Georgia College sent home students with suspected cases of the swine flu.
Student Health Services Director Alice Loper says the students haven’t officially been tested for H1N1 since the test is only performed when hospitalization is necessary.
Georgia College’s Pandemic Response Team will hold a series of flu forums. The first is Thursday, August 27th at 1pm in the Russell Auditorium. The forum is open to students, faculty, and staff. Topics on the agenda range from prevention, symptoms, and treatments. Additional forums will be announced at a later time.
