FVSU student dies in single car accident

FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Fort Valley State University senior died in a car accident, Thursday morning.

According to Peach County Coroner Kerry Rooks, 22-year-old Taylor Moore of Powder Springs, lost control of her vehicle around 2:00 a.m. on Carver Drive near the university’s campus.

Her car was found around 7:00 a.m., Rooks pronounced her dead at the scene.

According to the university’s Facebook page a GoFundMe account has been set up by the family to help with Moore’s funeral arrangements.

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the accident.
