Free Macon-Bibb after-school program begins August 10
The weekday program includes homework assistance, physical fitness, reading, financial literacy and a snack, but transportation is not provided.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Registration is open for a free Macon-Bibb County after-school program for students in kindergarten through eighth grade.
The program begins Monday, August 10, and runs from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, according to Macon-Bibb County Recreation. Eight county recreation centers will host the program.
Students will receive homework help, participate in physical fitness activities and learn about reading and financial literacy. An after-school snack will also be provided.
Transportation is not provided.
