Five Star Ford in Warner Robins receives special honor

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A local car dealership in Houston County received a special honor Monday afternoon.

Five Star Ford won the President’s Award, given out annually by the Ford Motor Company to dealerships that best exemplify excellence toward customer satisfaction in sales and service.

“Everybody’s pumped up about it,” said Five Star general manager Josh Thompson. “It takes everybody from the salesmen, to the managers, to the guys back in detail. So it was a big team effort.”

According to a news release, customer survey responses are taken into account in order for dealers to be considered for the award and “must not only meet and surpass sales goals in their market, they must also exhibit an extremely high level of professionalism and customer service above and beyond other dealers in every department.”

Five Star Ford is a part of the Five Star Automotive Group, which operates dealerships across the states of Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina.

There are over 3,000 Ford dealerships across the country, and only around 300 receive the President’s Award.
