Father and son injured in motorcycle accident

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A motorcyclist and his son are in the hospital after their bike hit a truck.

According the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, 57-year-old Willie Hollingsworth Sr. and his son Willie Hollingsworth Jr. were traveling in the northbound lane of Broadway Street when a truck int southbound lane, driven by 58-year-old Jeremy Brinkley, attempted to make a left turn into the business.

The motorcycle crashed into the passenger side of the truck.

The father and son were taken to the Medical Center, Navicent Health for their injuries. Hollingsworth Sr. is listed in serious condition, Hollingsworth Jr. is in stable condition.

Brinkley was treated at the scene.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s office is investigating the accident.
