Fatal traffic accident in Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A fatal accident occurred on Monday night in the 500 block of Pierce Avenue in north Macon.

It was reported that 66-year-old Deborah Beckwith was traveling north bound on Pierce Avenue when she lost control of her vehicle, a 2008 Chevrolet HHR, and struck a tree. Beckwith was transported to Navicent Health where she was pronounced dead.
