Enmarket employees participate in Full-Service Friday to help fight cancer

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Employees of the Enmarket conveniences stores participated in Full-Service Friday this afternoon.

The event was part of a month-long donation drive to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk.

Anyone pulling into the gas station for a fill-up received vintage style full-service treatment from workers, and were also encouraged to make a donation toward the fight against cancer.

2 for $1 Nathan’s brand hot dogs were also on sale, as well as water, chips, fruit cups, and even raffle tickets for a chance at a few prizes. 100% of the proceeds will be donated.

Mark McNease, the District Manager of Middle Georgia for Enmarket, said the company was glad to do their part in helping a good cause.

“It’s an extremely crucial cause,” he said. “Almost every American you run into is impacted in some way by cancer, you know someone related to someone or are friends with someone that’s been impacted by this terrible disease.”

McNease said Enmarket’s goal is to raise $100,000 for the month. So far, they have raised around $60,000.
