East Dublin man shot multiple times, police looking for killer

DUBLIN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Dublin police investigators are trying to figure out who shot and killed a 29-year-old man Thursday night. 

Chief Wayne Cain tells 41NBC, officers found Tavaris Carter in an Isuzu Trooper with multiple gunshot wounds at 11:54 p.m. on Fair Street.

Carter was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. Cain says residents in the neighborhood heard the shots but didn’t see anything.
