GBI investigating after 18-year-old shot multiple times in Dublin

DUBLIN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — An 18-year-old man is in critical condition after a shooting early Wednesday morning at a Dublin apartment complex, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

The GBI said in a news release that the shooting happened around 12:08 a.m. at Vinson Village Apartments near the intersection of Dewey Street and West Mary Street.

Officers with the Dublin Police Department responded to a report of a person shot and found an 18-year-old Dublin man with multiple gunshot wounds, the release said.

Witnesses reported an argument happened before the shooting. The victim was taken to a hospital.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains active and ongoing.
