UPDATE: Man arrested for double homicide at mobile home park in Macon

UPDATE: Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators have made an arrest for the double homicide inside a mobile home in Macon Monday afternoon.

Through their investigation, Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators found out that 19 year old Jaives Fountain, of Macon, had been inside a mobile home at Avalon Mobile Home Parkon Jeffersonville Road. Investigators say that’s where 29-year-old Quinterious Hillman and 29-year-old Jerod Lester were killed Monday afternoon. Investigators say Fountain admitted to killing both men.

Fountain is now in the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and has been charged with two counts of murder. He’s being held without bond.


MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A homicide investigation is under way following the discovery of two bodies inside a mobile home in Macon.

Deputies with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Avalon Mobile Home Park at 2621 Jeffersonville Road, around 4:30 Monday afternoon.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the victims have been identified as 29-year-old Quinterious Hillman, of Macon, and 29-year-old Jerod Lester, of Macon.

Deputies say no one else was injured in this incident.

Deputies do not have any suspect information, and they are investigating what led to the deadly shooting.
