Cooler but stormy weekend on deck

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Rain odds will remain high heading into the weekend, keeping high temperatures below average.
This Evening
Ongoing scattered storms will continue through the suppertime hours before dwindling off. Skies will be mostly cloudy tonight with a couple showers and perhaps a storm persisting after midnight. Overnight lows will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s accompanied by light and variable winds. Fog will be possible heading into the start of Saturday.
This Weekend
Saturday will be cloudy with plenty of storm chances starting around lunchtime and continuing through the rest of the day. Highs will reach the upper 80s and lower 90s in the afternoon; some spots potentially even cooler than that. No severe weather is expected, but storms may bring a few strong wind gusts or small hail. Overnight will be mostly cloudy with lows in the upper 60s and lower 70s, likely accompanied by fog on the back end.
Sunday will have a bit more sun to it, but overall it will be mostly cloudy with scattered storms likely over the back half of the day. It will be an overcast night featuring lingering showers ahead of Monday. Patchy fog will be possible on the back end as well.
