College Hill Alliance announces middle Georgia’s first Maker Festival

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The College Hill Alliance announced its scheduled to host middle Georgia’s first Maker Festival.

The festival is designed to showcase and celebrate the creativity of entrepreneurs across the country.

The 2-day event will take place at Tattnall Square Park in April 2015.

ArtPlace America awarded the alliance with a $125,000 grant to make this event possible.

Also during the announcement the College Hill Alliance revealed the new Macon Made seal.

The seal is available for use by artisans, businesses and industry to promote local products.
