Coach’s Corner: Macon County Bulldogs want to make it three straight region titles

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Macon County Bulldogs are coming off back-to-back region titles, but lost in the state quarterfinals to Pace Academy.

This is Dexter Copeland’s second season as head coach.


The Bulldogs will be returning 10 starters.

One of them will be senior quarterback K’hari Lane, who threw for 3,000 yards and 30 touchdowns.

Running back Jared Daniels rushed for 1,400 yards and had 26 touchdowns.

Running back Aukeeveous McClendon rushed for 800 yards.


The Bulldogs will have nine starters back on defense.

This will include senior LB Kentarius Felton, senior DB Curt McDonald, and DE Marquel Jackson.

FIRST GAME: August 26th versus Dooly County.
