Circuit Fitness coming soon to Amerson River Park

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A new area to workout will soon be in Amerson River Park.

Leadership Macon 2017 came up with the idea of a fitness circuit, which will have eight pieces of gym equipment from Greenfield Outdoor Fitness.

Nadia Osman, Representative for Leadership Macon 2017, said the fitness circuit is one of a kind.

“This circuit will allow up to 23 people to work out at the same time,” Osman said. “And as we saw in exploring Macon-Bibb county and all of the ways that it is wonderful as well as its issues, we saw a need for something like this to promote health and wellness.”

Osman said Leadership Macon is looking for more sponsors to cover the remaining $13,000 left for the circuit.
