Children at Children’s Hospital, Navicent Health receive comic book hero surprise

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Children at the Children’s Hospital, Navicent Health were given a special surprise Tuesday afternoon.

A surprise given by Spider-Man, Superman, and The Incredible Hulk – three crusaders who scaled down the face of the hospital as kids below took pictures and watched in awe.

Afterwards, the three superheroes went inside to greet their fans and give out special gifts, and it was the last thing any of the young ones were expecting.

“I didn’t think it was going to be superheroes,” said hospital patient LaKayla Kinsey Tucker. “I thought it was just going to be people flying down the ropes!”

The masked avengers weren’t actually the stars of movies and comic books, of course, but rather employees of the window cleaning company Windows Plus, who decided to dress up as the characters to bring a little joy to sick children.

India Elvine, whose son Jordan is also a patient at the hospital, appreciates the efforts the hospital staff and their associates go toward bringing a smile to a child’s face.

“They touch our hearts,” she said. “They make it feel like home.”
