The gathering moved to Carolyn Crayton Park after a Jones County Airbnb owner told the group to leave because people had firearms, Sheriff David Davis said.
UPDATE: The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says a 12th victim has been identified in the shooting at Carolyn Crayton Park early Sunday morning.
The original incident was reported to the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center at 12:06 a.m. Later Sunday, at 12:24 p.m., E-911 was notified that a 19-year-old man had arrived at a local medical facility with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Investigators later determined he had been shot during the Carolyn Crayton Park incident.
His identification brings the total number of victims in the shooting to 12.
The 19-year-old is listed in stable condition.

Davis said the group was celebrating an 18-year-old girl’s birthday and met near the park’s skate park. Another group arrived and opened fire, and people in the original group fired back, he said.
Eleven teenagers were injured. Davis said there’s no evidence at this time any of those injured fired shots. Students at Central, Northeast and Bibb County VIP were among the victims, he said.
Investigators found shell casings indicating multiple weapons were used, but Davis said the number of shots fired had not been determined. He believes semi-automatic and automatic weapons were used.
Several vehicles at the hospital and shooting scene were impounded, he said.
No arrests had been made as of the news conference. Davis said investigators would make arrests and that he would also pursue charges against adults who knew their children had weapons involved in the shooting.
Davis said the decision on whether juvenile suspects would be charged as adults would be up to the district attorney, but he would support doing so.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Eleven people were shot at Carolyn Crayton Park early Sunday morning, including two teenagers who are in critical condition, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
According to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting was reported to the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center just after midnight.
Deputies were responding to a report of a shooting at a large gathering in the park when they learned several victims were arriving at a local medical facility in personal vehicles.
The sheriff’s office says four 18-year-old males, five 17-year-old males and two 18-year-old females were treated for gunshot wounds.
According to medical staff, one 18-year-old male and one 17-year-old male are in critical condition. The other nine victims are in stable condition.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division is working to determine what led to the shooting.
The investigation remains ongoing.
