Carl Vinson VA Medical Center opens new Outpatient and Women’s Health Clinic in Dublin
New $16 million facility enhances health care services for veterans in Middle Georgia

DUBLIN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Carl Vinson VA Medical Center has opened a new Outpatient and Women’s Health Clinic building on the east side of its campus.
The $16 million facility aims to enhance veterans’ health care services with improved integration and the latest amenities, according to a news release from the medical center.
The 30,000 square-foot building includes expanded space for existing primary care clinics and will house the medical center’s growing Women’s Health Clinic. The facility consolidates the Primary Care Blue and Green care teams, improving access for veterans and their families.
The new building allows the VA to better serve its veterans by providing enhanced space and amenities. Interim Medical Center Director Scott Reesman said the transition to the new building is being phased to minimize disruptions, with women’s health services already operating and general primary care set to begin within the month.
The new clinic also creates 100 additional parking spaces and frees up space for renovations in other service areas, enabling the consolidation of some services to better serve outpatient veterans.
The Dublin VA, which serves approximately 40,000 veterans across 49 counties in Middle and South Georgia, plans to host a grand opening for the new facility in the coming months.
“We’re looking forward to showing off the new building to our friends in the community and will be inviting everyone to celebrate with us once we get our veterans settled in,” Reesman said.
