Brothers killed after being struck by train in north Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two brothers are dead after being hit by a train Saturday afternoon.

It happened on the tracks near Arkwright Road and Arkwright Drive just after 12:30, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office. The call came in from Norfolk Southern Railroad Company.

Deputies discovered the bodies of Cory and Bryan Cranmore upon arrival. Both men were pronounced dead by Coroner Leon Jones.
