Bonaire suspects charged with beating, kidnapping friend

BONAIRE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two people are in jail after authorities say they kidnapped, robbed, and beat their friend early Wednesday morning.

According to the sheriff’s office, 28-year-old Kenneth Lobzun visited 25-year-old Matthew London and 25-year-old Kristy Moore at their Second Street home in Bonaire. Authorities say the three of them got into a physical fight.

The sheriff’s office tells 41NBC London and Moore took Lobzun against his will and was driven to an undisclosed location in Houston County where he was forced out of the car. He made it to a neighbor’s house where he called 911.

Lobzun was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Lt. Dave Carrick tells 41NBC London and Moore stole Lobzun’s wallet, tablet, and other personal items.

Both are charged with aggravated assault, armed robbery, and kidnapping. They’re booked in the Houston County Detention Center without bond.
