Bibb students recognized for achievements in classroom, community
The Mentors Project of Bibb County held its 15th annual Achievement Banquet at Vineville United Methodist Church. Students who made the honor roll were recognized, along with those graduating this year. Others were awarded for outstanding community service.
June O’Neal, executive director of the Mentors Project, invites you to become a mentor.
“We want young people to be involved with life-long learning this summer,” O’Neal says. “We don’t want them to be hanging out on the street. We want them to be hanging out in the library and the classroom or with a good mentor, so please give us a call.”
If you’d like to get involved as a mentor, give the Mentors Project a call at (478) 765-8624.
