Bibb students learn about “Careers on Wheels”

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Carter Elementary students in Bibb County learned about jobs that are on the move.

The “Careers on Wheels” event let students interact with fire fighters, postal workers, and other people whose jobs involve a car. Students learned how the equipment in each person’s car or truck helps them do their job.

“It’s important for them to start thinking about their careers and to see who we have working in our community. These are jobs they can have one day when they’re older,” said Christi Watson, the school counselor at Carter Elementary.

Students said they loved seeing all the gadgets in the SWAT Team’s mobile lab.
