Bibb Sheriffs searching for stolen Silverado

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office sent out a be on the lookout (BOLO) announcement Tuesday September 14, 2021, concerning a stolen truck.

The truck was stolen from 3245 Vista Circle at 4:40 a.m. on September 14th.

According to the BOLO, the truck is a 2001 black Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Crew cab 4WD and tan interior. The tag is “TAS7500”, and the VIN is “1GCHK23U21F153758”. There are a number of visual distinguishers for the truck including a winch mounted on the front, the passenger side rear taillight is missing, there is ripped upholstery, there’s a dent in the passenger side bed, and the tailgate is broken with no handle.

The Bibb’s Sheriff’s office is asking that anyone that spots the truck or knows anything about the crime contact Captain George Meadows at (478) 747-3278 or Macon Regional Crimestoppers at (478) 742-2330.
