Deputies: Two brothers arrested after threats involving Bibb jail
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says Noah Center was charged with terroristic threats and acts, while Matthew Allen Baxley was charged with false report of a crime.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Two brothers are facing charges after the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says one threatened gunfire at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and the other threatened to break his sister out of jail.
According to a sheriff’s office Facebook post, one brother called the sheriff’s office four times and threatened to shoot up the jail unless his sister was released.
The sheriff’s office says he was taken into custody at a home on Society Street.
According to the post, the second brother called the next day to report a false crime. The sheriff’s office says he later called back and said he had warrants for his arrest and was going to break his sister out of jail. The sheriff’s office says the second brother was also arrested at the same home on Society Street.
In an email to 41NBC, the sheriff’s office identified the men as Noah Center and Matthew Allen Baxley.
The sheriff’s office says Center, was arrested Friday, June 26 and charged with four counts of terroristic threats and acts.
Baxley was arrested the following day and charged with two counts of false report of a crime, according to the sheriff’s office.
Jail records show both Baxley, who’s 26, and Center, who’s 28, are still being held at the Bibb County Jail.
