Bibb County Jail experiencing inmate phone system outage

The sheriff’s office says there is no estimated time for restoration.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says the inmate phone system at the Bibb County Jail is currently down.

According to the sheriff’s office, there is no estimated time for when service will be restored.

The sheriff’s office says it understands the importance of communication between inmates and their families and apologized for the inconvenience.
