Bibb families can get free uniforms, supplies at back-to-school event
The July 31 event at Macon Mall will include free uniform shirts while supplies last, school supplies and community resources
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Bibb County families can get free school uniform shirts and school supplies during the district’s 9th Back-to-School Bash in July.
The Bibb County School District says the event will be held Friday, July 31, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Macon Mall, located at 3661 Eisenhower Parkway.
According to the district, families will be able to receive free school uniform shirts while supplies last.
The event will also include school supplies, district and community resources and other support for families ahead of the new school year.
The district says the event is designed to help remove barriers to school attendance for Bibb County families.
The Bibb County School District PBIS Department is also asking district and community partners to volunteer for the bash on July 31 or help the day before the event on Thursday, July 30. Click here to sign up to volunteer.
