Baldwin receiver Jatavious Harris chooses Louisville over Pitt

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Baldwin High School wide receiver Jatavious Harris will spend the next several years in Kentucky.

Harris, a composite 3-star recruit according to, revealed he’ll attend the University of Louisville during a ceremony at the high school Tuesday. He chose the Cardinals over Pitt.

“It just came down to relationships really,” Harris said. “Everything else was mostly the same.”

Harris, who had more than 30 scholarship offers, visited Louisville this past weekend. He went to Pitt the week before.

“I felt more comfortable at Louisville,” he said. “So I just went with my first instinct.”

Harris will enroll in January and major in exercise science. He says he will also run track starting his sophomore year.
