Below average temperatures to remain in place

MACON, Georgia. (41NBC/WMGT)- Temperatures will run 15° to 20° below average this afternoon as we begin a warmup into the weekend.

After a cold start to the morning we will feel pleasant temperatures this afternoon once the clouds break. Temperatures will climb to near 70° this afternoon before falling back into the middle and upper 40’s overnight.

We’re finally going to get some sunshine to wrap up the work week! Temperatures tomorrow will warm into the middle and upper 70’s under a sunny sky. Friday night plans will likely require a jacket as temperatures fall back into the upper 40’s and lower 50’s.

A wonderful weather weekend is in store across Middle Georgia. Temperatures will hang out in the upper 70’s and low to middle 80’s for much of the weekend as we stay rain free. Isolated showers will return early next week.
