Atlanta Falcons players to attend Macon-Bibb Parks and Rec coaches clinic

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Atlanta Falcons will be in Macon but they won’t be here to play–they’ll be here to coach.

It’s a part of the free coach’s clinic Macon-Bibb Parks and Recreation has organized.

Parks and Rec Rep Brittni Fletcher says they want to give local coaches a chance to train with the pros and learn best practices working with kids.

“We’re gonna talk with the coaches about how to interact with their kids, they’ll go over some different offensive and defensive plays, and really just really help the coaches develop the best program that they an have for our kids,” said Fletcher.

So far, Parks and Rec has 100 local coaches registered, but they’ve still got about 50 spots left and want to fill as many of those spots as possible.

The event is next Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Howard High school.
