Three-car crash in downtown Macon sends mother and daughter to the hospital

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/ WMGT)- An accident in the heart of downtown Macon causes a mother and daughter to be pulled from their vehicle in result of a three-car crash.

According to Bibb County Sheriff’s, the incident happened just after 9 a.m. at the corner of Poplar Street Lane and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

Witnesses tell 41NBC News, the driver of a red Jeep ran a red light, clipped the front end of another vehicle causing the Jeep to roll over into another car.

Deputies say they pulled the mother from the front seat and her daughter was pulled from the back window.

Information on the accident is still developing and there’s no report on injuries, yet. 41NBC News will update you on the latest.
