Macon barber shot in head during robbery

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A barber is in the hospital after being shot in the head during a robbery Tuesday night.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says 39-year-old Terrence Thompson was working at the Draft Day Barbershop on Mercer University Drive around 10 p.m. when two masked men entered. One of them had a chrome hand gun. The robbers demanded money, and one of them shot Thompson in the head.

According to the sheriff’s office, Thompson is in critical but stable condition. A friend told 41NBC that Thompson will go into surgery on Wednesday.
