Summer trash pick up hours to begin June 6 in Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Summer hours for trash, recycling, and yard waste pick up will begin Monday, June 6 in Macon-Bibb.

According to Macon-Bibb County Solid Waste officials, the new collection time will allow crews to do more work during cooler parts of the day.

Pick up times will be from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Residents are asked to place their garbage on the curb after 7:00 p.m. the night before.
